Land rent

Management of land resources for agriculture is an important area of Agrowill Group activities. The group provides its agricultural companies with farmland, leases land to other entities involved in agriculture and buys plots of land for agriculture.
Companies controlled by Agrowill Group currently have almost 20,000 hectares of agricultural land. Compared with 2004, the area of farmland owned by Agrowill Group has tripled. In addition, the group owns almost 10,000 more hectares of land for agricultural purposes, of which more than 8,500 hectares are leased to other persons involved in agriculture. In 2007-2008, Agrowill Groups income from land lease alone amounted to 1 million euros. Forecasted that the revenue from land rent will increase in proportion of agricultural output prices.
The total area of agricultural land controlled by Agrowill Group exceeds 29,000 hectares and is the largest of all plots of land owned by legal entities in Baltic States. According to the group’s development vision, this area should be doubled to become a large agricultural company capable of competing in the European Union.
