Agro Management Team launches activities in Lithuania

Agro Management Team UAB (AgroMT), a subsidiary of Agrowill Group AB (AWG), is taking over agricultural asset management services and will provide them both to AWG agricultural companies and external customers. Agrowill Group continues developing its activities in the manufacturing field, i.e. dairying and animal husbandry. 
“The main goal of Agro Management Team is to help those who want to lease or sell their agricultural property (i.e. buildings and land plots) as well as farmers who want to buy agricultural property in Lithuania and engage in or develop farming activities there. AgroMT will provide brokering services and will communicate with both those looking for and offering such property on a daily basis. Therefore, it will be able to easily offer its customers the most suitable plot of land or a building complex,” Vladas Bagavičius, Board Chairman of Agrowill Group, said.
Marius Žutautas, Director of Agro Management Team, is not hiding that there is a much more serious reason for transferring agricultural asset management services to a new company. “We will seek clarity in the Lithuanian agricultural sector, focus on the efforts to refine and standardise Lithuania’s agricultural activities, bring together farmers and asset managers and show them the benefits of asset leasing contracts,” Žutautas said.
AgroMT has launched its website www.agromt.lt. It provides information on Lithuanian agricultural real estate prices in different regions of Lithuania. Farmers will be able to familiarise themselves with reliable information on price changes and evaluate them themselves. “A unified system would not only improve farming activities but would also reinvigorate this market,” Žutautas said.
