EU financing for water management projects

Two drainage associations embracing some 200 ha of agricultural land were established in December 2009. It is planned to reconstruct drainage structures in this area:  to replace sewers, couplers, clean the mouths and carry out other household work. All structures to be reconstructed are within the land owned by Agrowill Group. Using EU support for this project, it is expected to significantly improve the quality of land leased to farmers.  
Financing for the project exceeds LTL 2 million. Project implementation work is planned to be started in the III or IV quarter of next year.
